I was just having dinner and this crossed my mind. What is success? The first thing coming into mind was, what is success linked to because coming to think about it, when we think of success usually millionaires, billionaires and other well accomplished people come into mind.
Question must always be true to yourself, look at what is within your abilities, feasible and what challenges you are willing to tackle to grow yourself in the process of reaching your success. Hence I always say be inspired and aspire to be the best version of yourself.
I never feel the pressure of being fake or follow the crowd but rather be relatable to the ordinary person hence looking to far can troublesome because we end up being unrealistic, and often feel to far away and disempowered especially if we seek other’s lives or accomplishments which is their success.
Why I say their success, it’s simple success is satisfaction with your accomplishments enabling you to live life fully, meet your basics, spoil yourself with some luxuries and other things.
This made me think of my aunt, they had a tough childhood and it was difficult even working her way up but today she’s in the medical field. From Zero to being an optometrist and she’s living her best life according to her means.
Another person success can be from being a druggie to being detoxified, rehabilitated and reformed, enabling that person to be a contributing member of society and who may now be helping others come out of Life of addiction.
What embodies Success?
Success is change, development, accomplishments, reaching of goals and satisfaction with how your life has turned out. It’s not easy and challenges one.
Success is a journey for many filled with various obstacles and often linked to money in which that is looking at it in a narrow sense.
Trying your best in all you do alone is success regardless of your results whether big, small or failure because remember failure is a lesson unlike defeat. Which o completely agree with as I have failed so many times and my biggest success would be to graduate this year and yes crack a certain amount income generated to reinvest it in other ventures.
As a lady raised by single mothers namely my grandmother, aunt and mother I have to thank them in the best way I can because truly we have some amazing inspirations behind working to achieve our goals.
